Block Communal Cleaning Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Late in 2024, I was contacted by Lara, who had recently taken over the contract to manage the development of this block of 25 flats in Hatfield. She mentioned that the standard of cleaning was not up to the expected level and expressed a desire to change cleaning providers.

I arranged a mutually convenient time to visit the property to assess the situation. During the visit I can honestly say I was completely shocked by the poor state of cleanliness. How could another cleaning company think this was acceptable!

I was happy to submit a quote for our communal cleaning services, based on the level of cleaning required, which included dusting, wiping and vacuuming all the communal areas, cleaning the interior window glass, the inside of the lift, removing junk mail and looking after the bin store.

Lara agreed the quote and confirmed that she wanted to move forward after terminating the current cleaning contract.

The new communal cleaning contract includes bi-weekly cleaning and the maintenance of the bin store, which involves regular sweeping and ensuring it remains clean. Bin stores can become an eyesore and encourage pests if not well maintained, so this is an important area to include in any communal cleaning contract.

Any problems found on each visit are reported back to the Management Company straight away.
